UVA Lacrosse Player killed - Yeardley Love & George Huguely Facebook pages

The unfortunate news was delivered earlier on Monday that a female UVA Lacrosse player was killed. The 20-year-old female, Yeardley Love, was believed to be murdered by a fellow student and another Lacrosse player from the men's team, George Huguely. Police have taken Huguely into custody. With the news of the girl's death and the potential suspect, the Yeardley Love Facebook and George Huguely Facebook pages have become search destinations for many internet users.

The Yeardley Love Facebook page can be seen here or seen here. It does not give much more than a picture of the late student and one of her friends laying across a table. Yeardley has over 1,000 friends on her page. A search of her friends for George Huguely turns up 0 results, although it was reported that the two shared a relationship together in the past. That may also be due to the fact Huguely does not have a Facebook, as of now (see below). It's unclear at this time what Huguely's motive was in the killing, if he is indeed the guilty party. Yeardley does have several friends on her profile from the UVA Lacrosse teams as one would expect.

A George Huguely Facebook does not appear to exist at this time. A search of Huguely's name only turns up this page - what appears to be a recently created "Crime Scene - U. Va. lacrosse player George Huguely charged in Yeardley Love's death" page. It's possible that if Huguely ever had a Facebook profile it was pulled down by a friend or family member upon his arrest to prevent any info from being revealed. However, it has yet to be confirmed if he even had a Facebook profile.

Also of note, the Virgina Cavaliers Athletic website has the following profile of George Huguely for the Lacrosse team roster. Huguely is listed at 6'2 and 209 pounds as a senior from Chevy Chase, Maryland.
