Kaplan University Login: A former dean at the Washington Post Company unit of Kaplan Higher Education has been convicted by a federal jury in Chicago to make threats in e-mails and web postings. Bennie Wilcox, former Dean of Kaplan University law school and legal, was convicted on six points on Friday and faces up to 18 years in prison. Mr. Wilcox, 45, has denied messages written in 2007 and offers, and said he was in retaliation for filing a complaint accusing Kaplan of termination of committing fraud to obtain federal assistance.
